BECX... 2 Languages and 4 Categories
This logbook… travel diary or album… whatever you like to call it is published in two languages - the posts in either German or English.
My mother tongue is German while my daily life here in South Africa is mainly in English. As a result, I have developed a funny language schizophrenia over the years. There are English days and they're German days often depending on who I meet first in the morning or what books, articles and movies are on my radar.
Because of that you might find an interesting post-card in English or another one in German - just written on different days.
And I know – I often make mistakes in English.
While my main website and this Intro offer all texts parallel in both languages, otherwise on BECX you might have to use Auntie Google's Translate from time to time.
However, you can respond in your preferred language - English or German.
The categories are just for navigation – nothing more.
They are self-explanatory and comprise no exclusions. Therefore, you might find some posts in more than one category.
Don´t expect me to post accordingly to common social media customs …like regularity.
Enjoy being surprised when another post-card comes up.
As an introvert and HSP of advanced age I love my creative freedom too much to get contained into any corset of rules and norms, if I can circumvent it.
